Footer: The Next Step

After they put in the dirt initially, they spent the next day compacting it down, were then interrupted by rainy weather, and then commenced to dig the footer. They and I later found out that the footers had to be deeper than 12"...so I'm waiting on them to take care of that now.

They had a tarp almost long enough to cover the whole thing. Fortunately it didn't rain, and Micky and I had the pleasure of going out and removing the cover to make sure the slab got enough air.
