Attempt 1: Project No Go
This section has limited drawings, but I figured it was a good thing to document. We toyed around with this concept for a little while and spoke to some contractors, but the cost to build was just too high. It’s a large building, so the cost is already bulky, but the notable feature (the ‘v’ column and overhang) was just too complex of a feature for anyone to tackle. A rooftop patio didn’t help, as every contractor in Texas seems to find building a flat roof to be an impossible feat. My favorite aspect of this design was the bridge running through the house
